BSU Gets New Principal Officers
The Governing Council, Benue State University, Makurdi, during its 113th meeting held today Monday, 24th June, 2019 approved the appointments of three substantive Principal Officers:
1. Professor Linus Chia Saalu - Provost, College of Health Sciences
2. Dr. Mrs. Mfaga Modom - Registrar
3. Mr. Orinya Agbo Onazi - Bursar
The appointments of the University Registrar and Bursar are with effect from 1st July, 2019 while that of the Provost is effective 1st August, 2019. All appointments are for a single term of five years.
Letters of appointments were presented to them today by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Msugh Moses Kembe who also charged them to perform their duties conscientiously.

Residents of Fandisho village along Kaduna-Zaria highway, where the Emir of Potiskum’s convoy was attacked, have deserted their homes. Daily Trust gathered that most of the residents, mostly women and children, didn’t sleep in their houses for fear of the unknown.
